How to choose a TV or digital signage mount

Match the VESA pattern first

VESA is the spacing, in millimetres, between the four fixing holes on the back of a screen, written width × height, such as 400x200. A mount fits when it lists your pattern. Every product on this page shows the patterns the supplier says it supports.

Check the weight rating against the real screen

Each mount has a maximum load in kilograms. Add the weight of your screen to anything fixed to it, such as a media player, and stay comfortably under the rating. The heaviest-rated mount in this range holds 200kg.

Pick the movement you actually need

A fixed slim mount sits closest to the wall and is the neatest for menu boards. A tilting mount angles the screen down to cut glare. A full motion mount pulls out and swivels, which suits corners and screens seen from several spots. A ceiling mount frees the wall completely.

Use a multi-screen mount for digital menu boards

Twin and triple mounts hold screens side by side at the same angle with shared cable management, so a two- or three-panel menu board looks like one display.

Check what you are fixing it to

Solid brick or block takes heavy loads directly. Timber studs, plasterboard and suspended ceilings need the right fixings or a backing board. If a heavy screen is going up, get the wall checked first.

TV and digital signage mount FAQs

How much does a TV or digital signage mount cost in the UK?

Posso sells 100 mounts from £2.93 to £882.49 including VAT. Basic fixed and tilting wall brackets are the cheapest, full motion arms cost more, and multi-screen menu board and motorised mounts are the most expensive. Delivery is £8.34 per item.

Are the prices on the Posso shop inclusive of VAT?

Yes. The headline price on every product includes 20% UK VAT, and the price before VAT is shown underneath for business buyers. You receive a VAT invoice with every order.

How do I know if a mount fits my screen?

Check the screen size range, the VESA pattern (the hole spacing on the back of your screen, in millimetres) and the maximum load. All three must suit your screen. Each product page lists them, and you can call 0808 175 3956 with your screen model for a quick check.

Which mount is best for a digital menu board?

For a single screen over a counter, a fixed slim or ceiling mount keeps the display tidy and out of the way. For two or three screens in a row, use a twin or triple menu board mount, which holds the panels at the same angle with shared cabling.

Do the mounts have GTIN barcodes and manufacturer part numbers?

Every listing shows the manufacturer part number. 46 of the 100 also show the GTIN (EAN) barcode. Pro Signal mounts do not have a published GTIN, so we list the brand and part number instead of inventing one.

Can I return a mount I have bought?

Yes. You can return new, unused items in their original packaging within 21 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty. See the delivery and returns page for the full policy.
