How to choose a Windows POS terminal
Terminal only, or a complete bundle?
A terminal on its own is the lowest price and suits a counter that already has a printer and cash drawer. A bundle adds a receipt printer and a cash drawer to the terminal, so a new counter can be set up from one order. Bundles are listed in each range below.
Do you need Windows pre-installed?
Versions marked no operating system suit buyers who already hold a Windows licence or install their own image. Versions with Windows 11 IoT are ready to run. Bundles ship with Windows IoT, and we confirm the exact version when you order.
Sapphire, Titan or Forza?
The Sapphire is the rugged choice, with an IP55-rated front and a fanless build for busy kitchens and bars, in black or white. The Titan S560 is a 15-inch Alder Lake N95 terminal with 8GB of memory. The Forza is the slimmest, in the widest range of screen sizes from 10.1 inch to 18.5 inch, with room below for a printer.
How much memory do you need?
The Sapphire in black and the Titan S560 have 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD on the Intel Alder Lake N95. The white Sapphire and the Forza have 4GB and a 64GB SSD on a quad-core Intel processor. Choose 8GB and 128GB for large menus or product catalogues and for headroom with future software updates.
Terminal or tablet?
The Hisense HM628 is a rugged 10.1-inch Windows tablet with a built-in card reader, for table-side ordering and mobile service. A fixed counter terminal gives you a bigger screen and a more robust base for the main till.

Windows POS terminal FAQs
How much does a Windows POS terminal cost in the UK?
Posso sells 28 Windows POS terminals, bundles and tablets from £502.50 to £898.50 including VAT. A terminal on its own is the lowest-priced; complete bundles with a printer and cash drawer cost more. Delivery is £11.94 per item.
Are the prices on the Posso shop inclusive of VAT?
Yes. The headline price on every product includes 20% UK VAT, and the price before VAT is shown underneath for business buyers. You receive a VAT invoice with every order.
Does it come with POS software?
Yes. FREE Posso One POS software is included with all our hardware, with free set up. Monthly cloud fees apply, and Posso Pay card machines are optional.
Which Windows POS terminal is best for a restaurant, café or takeaway?
For a busy kitchen or counter, the SAM4S Sapphire is built for it, with an IP55-rated front that resists water, dust and grease. A bundle with a printer and cash drawer is the quickest way to set up a new counter. Call 0808 175 3956 and we will help you pick.
Is Windows included?
It depends on the version. Terminals marked Windows 11 IoT come with it. Terminals marked no operating system do not, so you add your own licence. Bundles come with Windows IoT, and we confirm the version when you order.
Do the terminals have GTIN barcodes and part numbers?
Every listing shows the manufacturer part number. The supplier does not publish a GTIN (EAN) barcode for these products, so we list the brand and part number instead of inventing one.
How long is delivery, and what is the warranty?
Items held in UK stock are dispatched within 1 to 3 working days. UK delivery is £11.94 per item. Each product has a 1-year warranty and 21-day returns on unused items.
UK mainland delivery, priced per item and shown before you pay.
21-day returns on unused items in their original packaging.
Secure card payment through Stripe. VAT invoice with every order.
